An old and dated conservatory and replaced with a modern, stylish front extension providing an imposing and impressive streetview to the property. It includes a cleverly-designed entrance area with storage, into a large open-plan ground floor living and dining space, including bi-fold doors to the garden.
Two-Storey Extension
Fixby, West Yorkshire
We completed a rear extension to a detached house in Fixby which included making alterations throughout the property to modernise and update, create a stunning and spacious additional living space and a kitchen/diner on the ground floor and a beautiful en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom upstairs.
Garage & Office Annexe Build
Norland, West Yorkshire
Following the demolition of existing fire-damaged garages in Norland, we developed this new build annexe. Including a garage and office, it has created a huge amount of useful additional space to the main property and is designed to complement the existing building.
Sun Room Extension
Stainland, West Yorkshire
We extended the ground floor of a large detached residence in Stainland to create a beautiful and spacious sun room, bringing the property up to date and providing more living space. The build included a roof lantern and sliding doors creating a seamless link to the garden.
Detached New Build Farmhouse
Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
This large detached farmhouse incorporated many features so it would both stand out but also blend in with the beautiful surrounding properties. It included stone quoins to compliment the reclaimed walling stone acquired by the client from an old, demolished church; windows sets with chamfered mullions and jambs; a front door stone set including a hood mould; a large archway allowing light to flow in to the living room area, and a stunning front door.
Detached Period-Style New Build
Rastrick, West Yorkshire
A project where the client had a very clear vision of what they wanted to achieve with this detached new build yet period-style property. It included fitting extremely detailed windows which contained all the traditional elements of a typical 16th/17th century stone built Yorkshire dwelling. The roof was to be stone slates with millstone grit copings to either side and drainage was by what appeared to be stone gutters but were in fact hidden, seamless, stainless steel troughs while the building was of broad-coursed, black-faced Yorkshire stone and to the front a completely authentic monolithic gritstone porch was to lead into the building.
Barn Conversion
Norland, West Yorkshire
A barn conversion with double storey extension and garden sun room. Reclaimed walling stone was used to match and complement the existing building with new sawn cut heads, cills and jambs walled to create window and door openings. Feature beams were built-in to blend the new extension in with the original barn.
Stable Block & Garages Conversion
Ogden, West Yorkshire
Conversion of Stable Block and Garages into a Farmhouse with Annexe. The project involved a full renovation and we incorporated reclaimed beams and a green oak truss to give the old farmhouse feel to the new property. A through fireplace was built with multi-fuel stove fitted to warm both the kitchen diner and living room while a bespoke kitchen and bifold doors feature which lead out on to the paved area and garden with stunning views.
